ABOUT SAS
Samantha Silverman, USAW American Open (2014)
SAS Weightlifting was created in honor of our dear, and late friend, Samantha Allyn Silverman in 2015. Samantha not only had a strong love for Olympic lifting but she also had a fierce competitive side and a beautiful desire to spread the sport of Olympic lifting with others.
Almost 10 years later, we’re proud to continue her legacy of spreading joy through lifting by housing our own competitive Olympic Weightlifting team with athletes of all ages and skill levels that compete both locally and nationally.
Everyday isn’t promised. We encourage our athletes to go hard today, and go hard tomorrow. And do it because you’re here. Because you can.
