What is your fitness story?

Health and fitness has always been an integral part of my life. Sports were a major part of my childhood and teenage years. Eventually I was given the opportunity to play both football and run track at the collegiate level for Whittier College, located in Los Angeles, CA. That is also where I began my coaching career. Upon graduating college I began a strength and conditioning internship in Newport, CA. While also acquiring a position at Pomona-Pitzer College as a sprint coach. Eventually life led me back to Tucson to work in a preexisting CrossFit Gym and pursue my career as an athlete.

Being an athlete my entire life, I’ve always valued the role and responsibilities a coach takes on. And I’ve been lucky to have been exposed to some of the best human beings I know today. Those people showed me at an early age how much impact fitness can have on one’s life and I’m grateful to be carrying that torch still to this day.

What is your favorite quote?

You’ve already done the hardest part by walking in the door. Be proud of yourself for that! From there all you need do is trust the process and have as much fun as possible!
